Planning/Strategy
Step 1 :
Initial Consultation & Proposal
In the initial stage our team collects information from our client
and performs an assessment for the project. Here, project objectives
are identified along with delivery time frame, budget costs and other
practical parameters. Once the project scope is defined a cost proposal
is presented to our client.
Step 2 :
Planning And Structure
Once the proposal is accepted, the web project starts with the planning
phase.
- A project plan is developed to identify the
delivery schedule, resources & materials collected and task
priorities.
- A site layout is designed to define the concept
& navigation flow for your site.
- Define your required site features, functions
and any software components.
- Define database and/or communication interface.
(forms, email links, live customer service, ect.)
- Decide on off-the shelf and custom software
needed to complete your project.
- Define web hosting and database infrastructure
Step 3
: Web Design and Implementation
The project starts to take shape once the structure
of your site is set. This phase usually includes the following tasks:
- A development site is created on one of stwebfx's
web servers for prototyping, testing, and client presentations.
This step allows the client to view work in progress
- Graphical page designs and images are developed
for client approval. At this point a decision is made on the overall
look and feel of your web site. This includes color palettes,
fonts, photographs, images and / or illustrations to be used on
your site. On approval your web page template is rendered for
use throughout your web site. At this point your web site goes
into production.
- Web hosting services for your web site will
be verified or implemented. When your production site comes online
& live an upload procedure for transferring completed work
to the web host in established
- Off the shelf software is purchased, installed
& configured.
- Custom software and/or scripts required for
your site are implemented.
- All the sections/categories defined in your
site layout are constructed and the content is added. This page
construction implements the design and structure specified for
your site. At this point your web pages are integrated with any
backend software.
Step 4
: Testing & Analysis
They have a large team of psd to HTML conversion experts that will work on your PSD files and covert them with a great level of precision to get the best HTML pages

When the implimention phase is complete your
project goes into a testing phase. During this phase stwebfx will
go through you entire web site and verify and test to ensure all
interactive components are working correctly. stwebfx will test
your web site on multiple platforms using different connection rates
ensuring that the final product is accessible to the widest range
of internet users possible. Any inconsistencies and errors will
be corrected at this time.
Step 5
: Launch and Follow-up
After rigorous testing your web site will be
made live to the public. At this time the completed work is transferred
to the web host server. Your web site will then be submitted manually
to all the major search engines and directories to announce your
presence.
